Description:
The
core activities for this post are envisaged as follows:

Support to Strategic
and Tactical Planning (development/update of IDRD main book and annexes) and
Increment definition (Feasibility Assessments, ESA IRD establishment)
·
Support
development/review/implementation of payload end-to-end scenarios, operations
concepts and implementation plans
·
Support development
and review of payload operations products (generic/increment-specific) and
supporting material (ops manuals, PODF procedures, OIPs/JOIPs,
Flight Rules, Payload Regulations, Groundrules and
Constraints)
·
Support Analytical
Integration activities and
·
Review of Increment
and stage Planning Products, i.e. Planning Requests, Flight Programme Overview,
OOS, etc.
·
Support to payload and
system level simulation activities
·
Participating to
establishment of simulation scripts
¡
Assess adequacy and
implementation of the Payload Operations Concepts and of OIPs/JOIPs
and of USOC Ops Teams setup
¡
Follow the payload
operations implementation by USOC Ops Teams and Col-CC interfaces
·
Participating to
simulation debriefing and reviewing results/reports
·
Support the execution
of payload operations in ISS increments:

Ops management support
(ESA Payload Ops Manager, POM; ESA Mission Management Team, MMT; Col-CC)

coordination of USOCs activities

Support for anomaly
resolution

Provision of payload
operations interface to external entities such as

Support to development
and review of generic and increment-specific payload operations products and
supporting material (ops manuals, PODF procedures, OIPs/JOIPs,
Flight Rules, Payload Regulations, Groundrules and
Constraints)
·
ESA-level Coordination
of payload and experiment data management (ground and on-board);
·
