Space System Engineering Consultancy
JAQAR Space Engineering provides Space System Engineering support to Space Industry customers. Being a company that consists of only aerospace engineers, our engineers can perform a variety of different tasks within a space system design project.
JAQAR engineers can work on and off site in your space system design team on a Time & Material or Firm Fixed Price basis.
Customers
- ESA CDF (European Space Agency Concurrent Design Facility).
JAQAR engineers provide System Engineering support to the ESA and the ESA Concurrent Design Facility since 1999.
- ESA/ESOC (European Space Operation Centre): Perfrom a study to investigate the use of Genetic Algorithms for Interplanetary Trajectory Optimisation. Click here to know more.
- ESA/TTP (Technology Transfer Programme): Perfrom a study to investigate the use of an expert system to automate a composite winding process. Click here to know more.
Swing-by Calculator
The Swing-by Calculator is a tool to find trajectories from a departure planet to an arrival planet or heliocentric orbit via multiple swing-bys. A maximum number of five swing-bys is allowed. Final conditions at the arrival planet can be a fly-by or planetary orbit.

Customers
- ESA CDF (European Space Agency Concurrent Design Facility).
The swing-by calculator is installed in the CDF and used in pre-assessment studies.
- ESA/ESOC (European Space Operation Centre): Perfrom a study to investigate the use of Genetic Algorithms for Interplanetary Trajectory Optimisation using the swing-by calculator. Click here to know more.
- The free demo licence and educational professional is used by student and universities in countries all over the world.
Lunar Transfer Orbit Calculator (LTOC)
Is a tool to calculate and optimise transfer to and from the Moon. Download here.
JAQAR Astrodynamics
This free downloadable engineering tool allows you to easily define operational orbits, make many conversions useful for orbit calculations, such as Kepler elements to inertial co-ordinates and vice versa. Also eclipse calculation and ground-station coverage. Download here.
